I'd like to return my machine - how do I do this?
We're sorry for any inconvenience. Please contact us and we'll get back to you with the next steps.
Returns are accepted on machines still within warranty and that follow our return policy. Your product must be registered before making a claim - register it via the Warranty & Registration page.
Can I cancel my order?
If your order has already been processed and shipped, we can't cancel it. Please get in touch for the next steps once you receive your order so we can process a return. Note that additional costs may apply.
Can I add or remove items from my order before it ships?
Please get in touch as soon as possible with your order number and what you'd like to change. We may be able to update it in time. If your order has already been processed, we can help you place a new order or process a return. Note that additional charges may apply for change requests on processed orders.
I think something's wrong with my machine
Take photos or videos of the issue and email cs@espresso-works.com - we'll be in touch quickly. Make sure your machine is still within warranty: check the warranty policy.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards.
Can I buy a gift card?
Yes. Gift cards can be purchased through our online store - view gift cards here.

What is the Auto-Off function?
All our machines have an Auto-Off function that switches the machine off after 25-30 minutes of inactivity. It also activates after 3 minutes of continuous pump use.
Shipping & Delivery
When will my order arrive?
Shipping times depend on the option you choose at checkout:
- Standard: within 7 days
- Expedited: within 5 days
- Priority: within 3 days
UPS delivery times are dependent on the options available at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the U.S. only.
Can I change my shipping address?
Get in touch as soon as possible. There's a small window between us receiving and processing orders, so we may be able to update the address in time. If your order has already been processed, additional charges may apply.

How do I track my order?
Choose the appropriate shipping option at checkout to receive a tracking number with your shipping confirmation.
My machine was damaged on delivery
We take great care packaging our products, but we can't control how delivery partners handle them. Please take photos or videos of the damage and email cs@espresso-works.com so we can resolve it.
I still haven't received my order
If you've been waiting an unusually long time, get in touch via our Contact Us form. Please include your order number and any tracking information.
Coffee
What coffee brands do you recommend?
It comes down to personal preference. We recommend experimenting with brands at your local supermarkets, weekend markets, and cafes until you find the one that makes every cup something to look forward to.
Beans or pre-ground coffee?
Freshly grinding beans just before brewing extracts the freshest taste. Coffee beans release aromas and oils when broken up, and these are lost the longer the wait between grinding and brewing. That said, the most important thing is finding beans that work for your palette.
Are EspressoWorks machines a good introduction to brewing coffee?
Yes - we sell our machines as complete bundles so you don't have to piece your home coffee setup together. Whether you want to perfect frothing milk, do latte art, or just make a better cup every morning, the all-in-one bundles cover you from start to finish - ideal for newcomers and equally functional for baristas polishing their skills.
Is coffee good for your health?
Coffee is rich in antioxidants and minerals that have been linked to a range of health benefits. If you have any pre-existing health conditions or concerns about coffee's effect on your health, please consult your doctor first.
How can I recycle used coffee grounds?
Used coffee grounds can be recycled as fertilizer, used to make candles, or even worked into beauty products. Our blog has a full guide on recycling used coffee grounds.
Why is my espresso not strong?
A few things to try:
- Use darker beans - a dark French roast gives a bolder, stronger taste.
- Grind finer (but not powdery between your fingers).
- Tamp the beans more firmly into the filter basket so the extraction picks up more of the espresso taste as water flows through the brew head.
Espresso is personal. Play with different beans, grind sizes, and tamp pressure to dial in your perfect shot.
