APPLE CIDER
- 4 apples (peeled and sliced)
- 4 cups of water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon of cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground allspice
CHAI LATTE
- 2 cups of milk (you can also use any milk substitute you like)
- 2-3 black tea bags
- 2 tablespoons of agave (or honey)
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla
- 1 shot espresso
CHAI SPICE MIX (for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon of ground ginger

APPLE CIDER
Method:
Step 1: Add your apples, cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice, and water into a medium-sized saucepan. Let the mixture simmer until the apples become soft and the flavors have combined. This should take 15-20 minutes.
Step 2: Use a ladle to scoop the ingredients and strain them, making sure to squeeze the excess juice out of your apples. Discard the apples, cinnamon sticks, and cloves, and set your apple cider aside for later.
CHAI LATTE
Method:
Step 1: Extract a high-quality shot of espresso. Make sure to measure out your beans and grind them evenly before extraction.
Step 2: In a medium saucepan, add the milk and let it boil for 1-2 minutes over medium-high heat.
Step 3: Remove the milk from the heat and add the tea bags, letting them steep in the milk for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Remove the tea bags and whisk in 1 tablespoon of your chai tea spice mix, 1/2 a cup of cider, vanilla, shot of espresso, and agave (or honey).
Step 5: pour your apple cider chai latte into mugs and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of extra chai spice mix if desired!

Ingredients (serves 1)
- 1 cup of milk
- Half a tablespoon of granulated sugar
- 2/3 of an ounce (19grams) of bittersweet chocolate chips
- 2/3 of a tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon of graham cracker crumbs
- 2 marshmallows
- 1 small skewer
- 1/2 shot espresso (optional)
Method:
Step 1: Extract half a shot of espresso if you wish for this whimsical holiday drink to pack a little more of a punch.
Step 2: In a medium-sized saucepan, add in your milk and sugar over medium heat. Let the milk and sugar simmer for about 10 minutes before removing the heat and whisking in your chocolate chips.
Step 3: Place some honey on a small plate or saucer and turn your mug over so that you can coat the rim in honey. Then, dip the rim into your graham cracker crumbs until it’s evenly coated.
Step 4: Skewer two marshmallows and lightly toast them over your stove or by using a kitchen blowtorch.
Step 5: Add your hot chocolate into your mug and then add in your optional shot of espresso. Stir and garnish with your marshmallow skewers.
